| 1976 Wots Up Doc | Scorpion in superb condition, full racing spec, raking rig. 2 P & B mains and jibs, Rush & Speed spinnakers, over-boom cover, combi trailer, cacoon cover. Always sailed on Chipstead Lake until July 2008 when I moved house to Hythe (Kent) and not sailed since. Has been in my garage in Hythe for over a year and I am now keen to clear the space.

| Scorpion Centreboard | Have discovered a centreboard from the last Scorpion which I owned (1888) back in 1995 and raced at Walton-on-Thames SC.
Centreboard - lightweight sapele, painted white. £45 ono.
Sc1888 was a Stewart IV but I seem to recall that the centreboard would also fit the Stewart III hull.

The mast is complete with spreaders, shrouds, forestay and halliards, it appears to be straight and in reasonable condition. The boom is also in reasonable condition. | 1498 Free Scorpion | I have a Scorpion hull, 1498 (I think) which desparately needs a good home. I bought it 10 years ago to provide rigging for another boat and it has been sitting in a barn every since. The roof of the barn has started to go and damp is getting in, so the boats future is looking doubtful. It would be a terrible shame for it to be scrapped.
The hull looks professionally made and is in sound condition. However, the ply on the foredeck has started to lift, and unfortunately the previous owner sanded through the top layer of ply on the side tanks when revarnishing. It has no rigging or rudder, but I think the center board is still in place.
I would love to sort it out myself, but unfortunately I have no time to deal with it and the boat cannot wait any longer. It is based in Somerset between Taunton and Tiverton - can you spread the word, maybe someone might take pity on it!
